Every reservation comes with three complete meals, drinks, and full bar service included for our guests.

Fresh, Local Ingredients
Our menu centers on the freshest, highest-quality ingredients sourced from local Kodiak farmers and the lodge’s own garden. We also include wild-caught seafood whenever possible, such as fresh Alaskan salmon. This commitment to local and seasonal ingredients brings authentic flavors of the Great Land right to your plate and ensures every meal is unique and satisfying.

Domestic beer, wine, and dessert are served complimentary with meals. If you have special beverage preferences, we recommend purchasing them before departing for the lodge. There is a liquor store located in downtown Kodiak where you can pick up your preferred wine, beer, or spirits.

Meet Our Chef: Tom Elliott

Tom Elliott, Katmai Wilderness Lodge’s talented chef, brings a unique blend of experience and passion to every meal he creates. Originally from the East Coast of the United States, Tom’s journey to becoming a chef began after serving six years in the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he pursued his true calling and earned a Culinary Arts degree in 2002.
Tom’s culinary career spans a wide range of styles, including French, Italian, Asian, and American cuisines. After working across the U.S., he found his true home in Alaska—captivated by its vast, wild beauty and incredible ingredients. For years now, Tom has delighted guests with his skillful cooking at various Alaskan locations and is proud to be part of the Katmai Wilderness Lodge team.
